1. Purpose and acceptance

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) governs access to and use of services supplied by V-WVID Hosting (“V-WVID”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It is intended to maintain a safe, lawful, secure and reliable hosting environment.

By purchasing, accessing or using a V-WVID service, you agree to comply with this AUP. This AUP forms part of your agreement with V-WVID and applies for as long as you access or use our services.

2. Scope of services and covered users

This AUP applies to our web hosting, shared hosting, VPS and virtual server services, cloud infrastructure, domain registration and DNS-related services, SSL services, website and eCommerce hosting, storage, backups, support systems, client area, networks, IP addresses and any related product or service we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

It applies to every customer, account holder, administrator, employee, contractor, reseller, affiliate, end user, website visitor, authorised user and any other person who accesses or uses the Services through your account (“Users”). It also applies to all websites, applications, files, databases, communications and other material transmitted, stored, published or processed through the Services (“Content”).

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account, whether performed by you or by a person to whom you provide access.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Services for lawful personal, professional and commercial purposes that are consistent with the service plan you purchased. Examples include:

  • hosting legitimate websites, blogs, portfolios, business systems, APIs, databases and eCommerce stores;
  • operating lawful applications, development environments and online services;
  • registering and managing domain names for lawful purposes;
  • sending ordinary transactional or consent-based communications in compliance with applicable anti-spam and privacy laws; and
  • storing or processing data that you are legally authorised to use and for which appropriate security measures are maintained.

Permitted use remains subject to plan limits, technical documentation, written service-specific rules and reasonable instructions issued by V-WVID to protect the Services.

4. Prohibited use

You must not use, attempt to use, or allow the Services to be used for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, deceptive, dangerous or harmful activity. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:

Illegal activity and harmful conduct

  • violating, facilitating the violation of, or encouraging conduct that violates any applicable law, regulation, court order or legally binding requirement;
  • child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, unlawful extremist or terrorist content, unlawful weapons activity, or the sale or distribution of illegal drugs or controlled substances;
  • credible threats, incitement to violence, harassment, stalking, doxxing, non-consensual intimate content or content intended to cause serious harm;
  • services or content designed to evade law enforcement, regulatory obligations or legal restrictions.

Fraud, deception and abuse

  • phishing, spoofing, impersonation, account takeover, credential theft, fake stores, advance-fee schemes, investment scams, payment fraud, chargeback fraud or other deceptive practices;
  • creating or distributing counterfeit documents, counterfeit goods, misleading advertisements or materially false claims;
  • concealing or falsifying identity, contact details, message headers, domain registration information or the origin of traffic where disclosure is legally required;
  • using stolen, unauthorised or fraudulently obtained payment methods, accounts, credentials or personal data.

Malware and security abuse

  • developing, hosting, distributing or controlling malware, ransomware, viruses, spyware, credential stealers, botnets, malicious scripts or command-and-control infrastructure;
  • unauthorised access, intrusion, exploitation, scanning, probing, interception or disruption of systems, networks, accounts or data;
  • denial-of-service attacks, traffic flooding, packet amplification, brute-force attacks, cryptojacking or coordinated malicious automation;
  • publishing credentials, access tokens, exploit data or instructions primarily intended to enable unauthorised compromise or material harm.

Spam and unsolicited communications

  • sending unsolicited bulk email or messages, purchased-list campaigns, spam, mail bombing or communications that do not meet consent, identification and unsubscribe requirements;
  • operating open mail relays, open proxies, insecure forms or other systems that materially facilitate spam or abuse;
  • using the Services to collect addresses, scrape personal data or generate leads in violation of law or third-party rights.

Intellectual property and privacy violations

  • hosting, distributing or linking to content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other proprietary rights;
  • piracy, unauthorised streaming, illegal IPTV, cracked software, licence-key circumvention or repositories primarily intended for unlawful distribution;
  • collecting, using, exposing, selling or disclosing personal data, confidential information or communications without a valid legal basis or authorisation.

Infrastructure and service interference

  • activities that impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load, degrade service quality, bypass quotas, or interfere with other customers;
  • circumventing access controls, rate limits, usage restrictions, billing controls, security measures or plan limitations;
  • using shared hosting as a general-purpose backup, archive, public file mirror, compute cluster, traffic exchange, or other function inconsistent with the purchased plan;
  • reselling or transferring Services when your plan or written agreement does not authorise it.
A purpose does not become acceptable merely because the tools or Content involved can also have legitimate uses. We may assess the actual design, context, volume and likely impact of the activity.

5. Restricted and high-risk activities

The following activities may create heightened legal, security, network or reputational risk and require our prior written approval before deployment:

  • bulk or high-volume email, messaging, marketing automation or mailing-list services;
  • public file-sharing, high-volume media delivery, download mirrors, streaming platforms or content delivery services;
  • public VPN, proxy, relay, Tor exit-node, anonymisation or traffic-forwarding services;
  • cryptocurrency mining, staking infrastructure, blockchain nodes or other unusually resource-intensive computing;
  • penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, security research or dual-use cybersecurity tools, even where authorised by a third party;
  • regulated financial, payment, healthcare, gambling, adult-content, age-restricted or other legally sensitive services;
  • processing special-category, highly sensitive or regulated data; and
  • reseller, multi-tenant or downstream hosting services that give third parties control of Service resources.

Approval may be subject to additional verification, safeguards, plan requirements or contractual terms. Some activities may be refused or prohibited entirely based on law, risk, upstream-provider rules or our operational capabilities. Written approval for one activity does not approve any other activity and may be withdrawn if circumstances or risks materially change.

6. Content and platform rules

You must ensure that your Content and services are accurate where accuracy is legally required, do not materially mislead users, and include any notices, licences, disclosures, age controls or consent mechanisms required by law.

You must maintain a lawful basis and all necessary rights, permissions and licences for Content you upload, process or make available. You must promptly remove or restrict access to Content when you become aware that it is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent or otherwise violates this AUP.

You may not use the client area, support system, contact tools, domain services or any other part of our platform to abuse staff or users, automate fraudulent requests, submit malicious payloads, manipulate service metrics, evade verification or interfere with normal operation.

7. Account security and responsible resource use

You must maintain reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to your use of the Services. At a minimum, you must:

  • use strong, unique credentials and enable additional authentication protections where available;
  • keep operating systems, applications, plugins and dependencies supported and promptly patched;
  • configure access controls, backups, encryption and logging appropriate to the sensitivity of your data;
  • prevent unauthorised access and promptly contain compromised websites, accounts, scripts or servers;
  • notify V-WVID promptly of any security incident that affects or may affect the Services; and
  • remain within allocated storage, bandwidth, CPU, memory, email and other plan limits.

You must cooperate with reasonable remediation instructions. Running outdated or compromised software after notice may be treated as a violation because it creates risk to other users and the network.

8. Third parties, resellers and sub-users

You are responsible for the acts and omissions of every person who accesses or uses the Services through your account, including employees, contractors, customers, resold-service users and other sub-users. You must ensure that they are informed of and comply with this AUP.

If you provide services to third parties using V-WVID infrastructure, you must maintain enforceable terms that are no less protective than this AUP, operate an effective abuse-reporting process, keep accurate account and contact records as required by law, and respond promptly to valid complaints and V-WVID instructions.

Your responsibility is not reduced because a violation was committed without your knowledge. You should control access and monitor your own users to the extent permitted and required by applicable law.

9. Compliance with laws, regulations and sanctions

You must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to you, your Content, your users and your use of the Services. These may include laws concerning privacy and data protection, electronic communications, consumer protection, intellectual property, cybersecurity, taxation, advertising, exports and trade controls.

You must also comply with applicable economic and trade sanctions, embargoes, export-control laws and restrictive measures. You may not use the Services for the benefit of, on behalf of, or in a transaction involving any person, entity, organisation, country, territory, goods or activity when doing so is prohibited by sanctions or export controls applicable to you or V-WVID. You may not conceal ownership, control, destination or end use to evade such restrictions.

You are responsible for determining and maintaining the licences, registrations, consents, notices and authorisations required for your activity. Where law or a competent authority requires us to restrict, disclose, preserve, remove or block access to Services or Content, we may take the required action.

10. Monitoring, investigation and cooperation

We do not undertake to review all customer Content and do not assume responsibility for monitoring every activity. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we may monitor technical indicators, network traffic patterns, resource consumption, security events, complaints and publicly accessible Content to operate and protect the Services and enforce this AUP.

Where reasonably necessary, we may investigate suspected violations, request information or verification, preserve relevant records, quarantine malicious material, restrict access, or inspect affected systems and Content. We may use automated controls and trusted third-party security or abuse signals.

We may cooperate with courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, rights holders, upstream providers and other authorised parties when legally required or reasonably necessary to respond to abuse, protect rights and safety, or maintain service integrity. Any handling of personal data remains subject to applicable data-protection law.

11. Enforcement and consequences

We determine, acting reasonably and based on available information, whether conduct violates this AUP. Depending on the nature, severity, duration, repetition and impact of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • issue a warning or require corrective action within a specified period;
  • block traffic, ports, messages, files, domains, IP addresses, users or access methods;
  • remove, disable, quarantine or preserve Content;
  • temporarily limit or suspend some or all Services;
  • terminate Services or close the account;
  • charge reasonable remediation or excess-resource fees where allowed by the service agreement and law;
  • report conduct or provide information to an authorised third party where required or permitted by law; or
  • take any other action reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties or our infrastructure.

We will ordinarily seek a proportionate response and provide notice where reasonably practicable. We may act immediately and without prior notice where we reasonably believe there is an urgent security risk, ongoing fraud, serious illegality, danger to persons, substantial harm to third parties, a threat to network stability, sanctions exposure, or a legal or upstream-provider requirement.

Suspension or termination does not remove your responsibility for accrued charges or liability arising from your conduct. Repeated violations, attempts to evade enforcement, or failure to cooperate may result in permanent termination.

12. Reporting abuse or illegal content

To report suspected illegal content, fraud, phishing, malware, intellectual-property infringement, spam, security abuse or another AUP violation involving V-WVID Services, email support@v-wvid.cc with the subject “Abuse Report”.

Please include:

  • the affected domain, URL, IP address or other exact location;
  • a clear description of the issue and why you believe it is unlawful or violates this AUP;
  • supporting evidence, dates, timestamps and relevant logs or screenshots;
  • your name and email address, unless anonymous reporting is protected or required by applicable law; and
  • a statement that the report is accurate and submitted in good faith.

We may request additional information. Incomplete, misleading or abusive notices may delay review. Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome, but we will assess sufficiently detailed notices in accordance with applicable law and our procedures.

13. Changes and relationship with other terms

We may update this AUP to reflect changes in the Services, technology, risk, law or regulatory expectations. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date. Material changes will apply from the stated effective date and may also be notified through the website, client area or email where appropriate.

This AUP supplements the agreement and any product-specific terms governing your Services. If provisions conflict, the provision that imposes the more specific or protective requirement for safe and lawful use will apply to the extent permitted by law.
